We work in the areas of unsteady aerodynamics, fluid structure interactions and uncertainty quantification.
-
Flapping flights of natural flyers and MAVs give interesting wake patterns. The qualitative changes and stability of the wakes are of interest as relevant parameters are varied.
-
Aeroelastic & acoustoelastic studies to determine the safety margins of engineering structures like wind turbines rotors and turbomachinery components along with nonlinear effects and bifurcation behavior.
-
Uncertainty quantification and stochastic bifurcation in nonlinear systems (includes high fidelity CFD and CSD based models) triggered by parametric uncertainty and noise.
